(1) Tamper Evidency and Breakage:
Modere is committed to delivering world-class, clean label lifestyle essentials. We have received reports concerning the packaging of our best-selling Liquid BioCell collagen. The clear shrink sleeve and shrink label may be prone to occasional slipping, which causes the bottle to drop and break.
We are pleased to inform you that we will be transitioning to new non-slip labels, which have been tested to provide a more secure grip.
We have also evaluated upgraded cap designs to eliminate occasional leaking, and will begin testing for quality, performance, and tamper evidence. With these new caps, further tests will determine how well the bottles would withstand shipping without an additional clear sleeve, and if successful, we may consider the removal of the clear sleeve. These packaging transitions are expected by September 2022, if not sooner.
We appreciate your patience and hope that you will continue to experience the remarkable, science-backed benefits of Liquid BioCell.
(2) Trim – Hard to Squeeze, Next Steps:
Modere is committed to delivering world-class, clean label lifestyle essentials. Recently, we announced the launch of a task force dedicated to the packaging of Trim, our best-selling weight management product. The bottles may be prone to breakage and/or difficult to dispense.
Researching numerous options, we have identified two potential improvements.
- New non-slip labels are being tested to allow for a secure grip and help reduce the incidence of bottle breakage due to occasional slipping of the current shrink label. We expect to transition to this improved label by October 2022, if not sooner.
- To improve the squeezability, we are also transitioning our Trim bottles from polypropylene to a more flexible thermoplastic polymer (also 100% recyclable) and acquiring new equipment specifically designed to package the product using this material.
We appreciate your patience and hope that you will continue to experience the remarkable, science-backed benefits of award-winning Trim.
