SOCIAL MARKETER ENROLLMENT GUIDE
You’re ready to enroll as a Social Marketer? Congrats! Getting started is as easy as 1-2-3. Simply follow the steps below:
Go to https://www.shiftingretail.com/
Click on the Join link.
New to Modere – Individual Social Marketer Account
STEP 1 — BUILD YOUR FIRST PRODUCT ORDER
Scroll down to select your favorite enrollment collection below (optional). For the best value, we recommend you choose one of our XM Launch Collections. Each XM launch collection is specially curated to provide a targeted range of best-selling Modere products.
The available XM collections vary by product availability. As new products are introduced, new collections are offered. Scroll down through the list to find a collection that meets your needs.
Click the + to add an XM Pack to your account. Click the – to remove the item.
Your purchase of an XM Collection also earns you a spot in the exclusive XMONE program that includes these incredible rewards:
- $200 in product credits, redeemable over the next 4 months
- One free ticket to the next Modere Social Retail Conference or Modere Fall Social Marketing Summit (up to $200 value)
- Eligibility to earn a Modere Experience (up to $400 value) through the XMONE program

Note: Only the XM Packs come with these benefits. Purchasing more than one XM Pack does not increase the benefits received.
If you do not want one of the XM Packs you can select a Basic Pack, or Essential Pack. Remember that these other two types of enrolment collections do not come with the XM benefits.
When you have made your selection click the Add to Cart button then click the Continue button. If decided not to purchase collection just Click the Continue button.
If you did not select an enrollment collection, the system will display a message explaining the need for 250 points in the first month. Click the Continue to Enroll button.
STEP 2 — SET UP YOUR SMARTSHIP
Build your recurring monthly SmartShip order of 75 points or more to auto-qualify for commissions. You will not be billed for your SmartShip order until the date you select on this page. You may edit or cancel at any time.
Select the products you desire to have in your SmartShip. You can either scroll through the list of Featured Products or click on the Shop All tab to find the products you want. When they have all been selected, Click the Add to SmartShip button.
The system shows the points for commission qualification at the bottom of the page. Click the Continue button.
STEP 3 — COMPLETE YOUR ENROLLMENT
Enter your personal information as you’d like it to appear on your Social Marketer account. This is also your opportunity to choose your back-office login and register your personalized website name, both included with your new Social Marketer account. Include your valid payment information and check out to complete your enrollment.
Et voilà!
If you are not an existing customer, enter the referral code of the Social Marketer who referred you to Modere, then click the Find Sponsor button.
Clicking the Question Mark icon displays the following message.
Clicking the Find Sponsor button will search for the Social Marketer with the referral code you entered.
Verify the name returned is the name of the Social Marketer who gave you the referral code. If it is not, click the change button.
This is a very important step and should be taken seriously. Once the account is created it is not possible to move from the selected Social Marketer without cancelling the account for six months.
Complete your basic identification information.
The question mark icon opens the following message:
You must provide either a Social Security Number or a Tax ID to be paid commissions.
Enter your address information, then click the Verify My Home Address button.
Enter your credit card information and check the Save this credit card check box.
Enter your desired web page name.
After reviewing the Terms and Conditions, Policies and Procedures, and the Compensation Plan (links provided), check the checkbox indicating that you have read and agree to the contents of those documents.
Click the Complete my Enrollment button to finish creating the account.
Existing Customer
If you are an existing Modere customer, on Step 3, click the I Am An Existing Customer checkbox.
The system will display an email and password sign-in box. Enter your email address and the password you use to log into your customer account.
Click the Validate button.
The system will display an email and password sign-in box. Enter your email address and the password you use to log into your customer account.
Click the Validate button.
The system will populate the new Social Marketer account with the information from the customer account.
Verify the sponsor is correct. If you want to change your sponsor at this time, click the Change button and enter a new sponsor’s referral code.
Verify the remaining information in the account.
Enter your credit card information.
Check the Save this credit card checkbox.
Click the Use a different address to add a billing address that is different from your main address.
Enter your web site name.
Read the Terms & Conditions, Policies and Procedures and the Compensation Plan, then check the check box indicating agreement to those documents.
Click the Complete My Enrollment button to complete your Social Marketer account.
At this point your customer account will be terminated. All orders created in that account will remain in that account. Any that are being processed will continue to be processed. If, you have a need to return products from an order created in that account they can still be returned to be replaced or refunded.
