Everything You Need to Know About the EWG***

The EWG (Environmental Working Group) is a third party, non-profit organization that reviews products and ingredients based on their safety for people and the environment. 

Modere's Toothpaste and Mouth Rinse are EWG verified, which means the products are free from EWG's chemicals of concern and meets their strictest standards.

There has been some confusion on the ingredients we use in our household products (i.e. the Multi-Surface Cleaner) showing up with a bad score in the EWG database. It's important to recognize that some ingredients are safe in small amounts in cleaning products, but they aren't safe when applied directly to the skin in cosmetic products.
