Omega 3 is formed from refined natural fish oil from mostly sardines, but some anchovies, mackerel and swai as well, harvested by a sustainable fishery in the Peruvian upwelling region, one of the richest marine environments in the world. The fishery is highly protected and regulated by the Peruvian government to ensure that it remains biodiverse and highly sustainable.
Each product is received with a certificate of analysis which includes several essential testing parameters and results that certify its high standard of quality. Testing includes tests for mercury, heavy metals such as lead, arsenic and cadmium. In addition, Modere performs our own tests for these impurities once received from the supplier.
